NFL teams coming out in unison to leak they aren't interested in pursuing Lamar seems unprecedented to me. One could argue just being linked to Watson 2 years ago would have negative consequences for franchises, and I recall few if any QB needy teams making it known they weren't interested. I'm normally with you when you're pushing back against twitter conventional wisdom etc but not in this instance. Owners are uniting to try and crush the possibility of fully guaranteed deals for players.
